Physical Strength

Physical Strength
 For physical strength outside of PE class I go lift weights at the gym three times a week before school.
I train with my uncle and brother at Total Fitness in Langely, we leave my house at 4:50 to get there at 5:15, then work out until about 7 o'clock.  Our work outs are high intensity and low repetition for building size and strength. we do four main compound muscle groups (back, chest, legs,and shoulders)instead of isolating specific muscles. for back we do pull ups and lat pull down, chest we flat bench and bench on an incline, legs we either hack squat or squat with a bar, and for shoulders we do shoulder press and side laterals. Going to the gym is very important to me now because it helps me with my sports and every other aspect of fitness.

  1. I think it's so great that you're spending so much time working out on your own. I can already see positive results while you're in the weight room. I would also like you to comment more about your efforts and self in class in your blogs. I'm not sure if it is fatigue but in class it seems like you're just going through the motions and could apply a much higher level of effort. I think this year is an excellent opportunity for you to take a leadership role in class and find ways to contribute to a positive class dynamic.

    Your work habit is satisfactory. I really want you to work on bringing the same high level of effort, energy and participation every class.
